Founder Camilla Wren has worked on a variety of High End Television Drama and Feature Films in development and production including Drama Republic's adaption of David Nicholl's bestseller "ONE DAY" for Netflix, and JK Rowling's "FANTASTIC BEASTS" franchise, before founding Frolic Films in order to bring bold new talent to a global audience.

Camilla received the BFI Vision Award in 2020, and was part of the 2020 Edinburgh TV Festival's ONES TO WATCH supporting and spotlighting TV's rising stars.

In 2023 Frolic Films was awarded the BBC Small Indie Fund, and Camilla was selected to take place in the highly competitive third edition of Film London's Breaking the Glass Ceiling talent scheme.
